Hyundai Kia

Hyundai Kia Automotive Group is the largest automotive industry in South Korea and the second largest car manufacturer in Asia (behind Toyota) and the fourth largest manufacturer in the world (behind Toyota, GM and Volkswagen).
The group emerged in 1998 due to purchase 51% of the second largest producer of cars in South Korea, Kia Motors, the largest South Korean manufacturer, Hyundai, but the two companies continue to produce their products separately and in competition with one another. The engines are not the same, much less cars produced. Soon after the company sold itself of its stake in Kia Motors  and today we had 38.67% of it.
Hyundai Kia Automotive Group also refers to a group of affiliated companies and interconnected by a complex agreement with the shareholders of Hyundai Motor Company as the representative of that group. It is the second largest conglomerate in South Korea after Samsung Group and was formerly with Hyundai Motor Group.
